Sally Bowles Makeup Design 3 (FINAL DESIGN)

From the trial and error of my first two designs and also the in class feedback and feedback from peers, I revised my design to create this final makeup chart.

I looked into the application of eyeshadow on 1930s women, they used an application method that gave their eyes a beautiful wide eyed shape. This effect is achieved by working a darker tone of eyeshadow into a half arch line across the crease, from the outer corner to the upper inner, nearer the bow of the brow. I adopted this technique to my design as well as leaving the brows quite sparse, only filling in the outer halves of the eyebrows.
From the second design, I continued with the use of the doll eyed false lashes and a white water line. I also kept the lip shape, altering it slightly to look more 1930s. I also used a darker shade of red, more of a brown tone, that photographs better.

Method:
      1.    Apply primer all over the face

3.   Pat concealer under the eyes and blend
4.   Dab a small amount of liquid rouge onto the apples of the cheeks and blend out using fingers

6.   Fill the lip pencil with MAC Retro
7.   Using the MAC black pencil, fill in the tail part of the eyebrow and run through with a mascara wand
8.   Eye shadow, apply ‘Almost There’ all over the eye lid up to the brow, then apply ‘Smudge’ to only the eye lid. Apply ‘Pure Chocolate’ into the crease in a half arc shape and blend

10.  Apply false eyelashes
11. Set makeup with loose powder

These are the images of a quick trial, the lighting isn't particularly good here but you can get the gist of the look I'm hoping to achieve!
